The Skippers
Walter and Jim Foley established South East Angling in 2000, with the goal of offering the best sea angling in the Hook Peninsula. Both started out their careers commercial fishing and later turned to sea angling. They have an
in-depth knowledge of the reefs and wrecks of the areas and an excellent understanding of the effects of tides at all times. As Honorary Secretary of Fethard RNLI Lifeboat Walter is acutely aware of water safety guidelines.
This year, due to increased demand for shorter trips they acquired two new boats for that purpose. This is an exciting addition to South East Angling. Having grown up in the area the lads know the best sites, the history and the hidden gems of the coastline. The new boats will allow Walter and Jim to share their local knowledge of all the coastline has to offer.
